Yes that is a picture of two iMacs in the house. No this isn’t any slick photoshopped trickery. No I didn’t get a huge return from Uncle Sam this year and buy another iMac. It is not my machine at all. As mentioned in the earlier post (in April) my roommate sold his PC last week and used the money to purchase himself a new 17″ iMac like mine. We were not expecting its arrival until Friday. He was pleasantly surprised to see it on the doorstep Wednesday afternoon. By the time I arrived home from work he had already installed more RAM, connected the iMac to the web, and networked his iMac with the rest of our home network of machines. Apple makes it such a simple process that having never done this before he had no trouble setting it up from scratch the first time. By the end of the evening last night he had all his programs installed and customized the way he liked. I have a feeling he will enjoy this new machine much more than any other computer he has owned in the past. Ill keep you posted.
